Buying the Myth

o much life conditioning inhibits the brilliance that is in you. Are you accessing all that is available to you? As a brilliant coach, as a brilliant human-being, as a brilliant spiritual being, as a bright light in the world, you have access to so much abundance. Are you living it? Are you breathing it? Do you believe it in every fibre of your being?

Or are you buying into the myth, the illusions? There are so many things aimed at people to help them build their lives and businesses; as though they are not enough themselves; as though the magic and mystery of existence were there to thwart your success. It’s so far from the truth of the abundance available in the universe. It often shocks and surprises me to see this disturbing trend. Whatever the truths are, I’m here to say there is MORE!

Dismantle the illusions of safety, security, structures, that create a prison of expectation, necessity, and image. Get into the risk of playing in the mud, getting dirty, letting go and letting God, magic, Source, energy (whatever belief/name suits you). You had it happening once as a kid. Bring it alive again. Inside, you are yearning for it.

Get excited again about the adventure, this life. Get curious and playful with your day-to-day, with your business, with your home, relationships, and finances. If you resist and prefer safety, security, and rigidity, I’m curious:

• So how’s that working for you?
• Where are you still dissatisfied?
• What don’t you want to let go of?
• What’s it costing you?

These thoughts, while universal, really are inspired by the tragic scarcity demonstrated in the world. Obviously it doesn’t affect everyone, but we do see some living in scarcity. This is a boost to those that do need it and a reminder to those of us who get it but are still human in our experience.

Is It God’s Will To Be Wealthy?

Why are there people who seem to attract unlimited wealth into their lives, while others, equally as capable or talented or worthy, suffer from poverty and lack?

Attracting wealth has nothing to do with education, status, talent, environment, intellectual ability, physical prowess, or geography. ANYONE, regardless of their background or circumstances, can attract wealth into their lives.

For many years I separated wealth from the “Christian” lifestyle. Somehow I thought that living a godly life meant living a life without material wealth. It wasn’t until someone showed me in the Bible that it was the will of God for ALL of his children to be prosperous and healthy. There is nothing in the Bible that says we must live in poverty to be right with God. We are right with God because of the finished works of Jesus Christ.

In the Bible in John 10: 10, Jesus says, “I am come that you might have life and that you might have it MORE than abundant.” If Jesus spoke the truth then this life must be available for all those who are willing to believe it.

The Science Of Getting Rich By Wallace D. Wattles Published in 1910 has changed the lives of many people. The following is taken from chapter 1 of this timeless masterpiece.

“WHATEVER may be said in praise of poverty, the fact remains that it is not possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich. No one of these is better or holier than the other; all are alike desirable, and no one of the three — body, mind, or soul — can live fully if either of the others is cut short of full life and expression. It is not right or noble to live only for the soul and deny mind or body; and it is wrong to live for the intellect and deny body or soul.

Man cannot live fully in body without good food, comfortable clothing, and warm shelter; and without freedom from excessive toil. Rest and recreation are also necessary to his physical life. He cannot live fully in mind without books and time to study them, without opportunity for travel and observation, or without intellectual companionship.

To live fully in mind he must have intellectual recreations, and must surround himself with all the objects of art and beauty he is capable of using and appreciating. To live fully in soul, man must have love; and love is denied expression by poverty.

A man’s highest happiness is found in the bestowal of benefits on those he loves; love finds its most natural and spontaneous expression in giving. The man who has nothing to give cannot fill his place as a husband or father, as a citizen, or as a man. It is in the use of material things that a man finds full life for his body, develops his mind, and unfolds his soul. It is therefore of supreme importance to him that he should be rich.

It is perfectly right that you should desire to be rich; if you are a normal man or woman you cannot help doing so. It is perfectly right that you should give your best attention to the Science of Getting Rich, for it is the noblest and most necessary of all studies. If you neglect this study, you are derelict in your duty to yourself, to God and humanity; for you can render to God and humanity no greater service than to make the most of yourself.”

When do you think the world will end?

Scientific experts from around the world are genuinely predicting that five years from now, all life on Earth could well finish. Some are saying it’ll be humans that set it off. Others believe that a natural phenomenon will be the cause. And the religious folks are saying it’ll be God himself who presses the stop button…

1. Mayan Calendar

The first mob to predict 2012 as the end of the world were the Mayans, a bloodthirsty race that were good at two things:

Building highly accurate astrological equipment out of stone and
Sacrificing Virgins.

Thousands of years ago they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329.53020 days, only 34 seconds out. The Mayan calendar predicts that the Earth will end on December 21, 2012. Given that they were pretty close to the mark with the lunar cycle, it’s likely they’ve got the end of the world right as well.

2. Sun Storms

Solar experts from around the world monitoring the sun have made a startling discovery: our sun is in a bit of strife. The energy output of the sun is, like most things in nature, cyclic, and it’s supposed to be in the middle of a period of relative stability. However, recent solar storms have been bombarding the Earth with so much radiation energy, it’s been knocking out power grids and destroying satellites. This activity is predicted to get worse, and calculations suggest it’ll reach its deadly peak sometime in 2012

3. The Atom Smasher

Scientists in Europe have been building the world’s largest particle accelerator. Basically its a 27km tunnel designed to smash atoms together to find out what makes the Universe tick. However, the mega-gadget has caused serious concern, with some scientists suggesting that it’s properly even a bad idea to turn it on in the first place. They’re predicting all manner of deadly results, including mini black holes. So when this machine is fired up for its first serious experiment in 2012, the world could be crushed into a super-dense blob the size of a basketball.

4. The Bible says…

If having scientists warning us about the end of the world isn’t bad enough,religious folks are getting in on the act aswell. Interpretations of the Christian Bible reveal that the date for Armageddon, the final battle between Good an Evil, has been set down for 2012. The I Ching, also known as the Chinese book of Changes, says the same thing, as do various sections of the Hindu teachings.

5. Super Volcano

Yellowstone National Park in the United States is famous for its thermal springs and Old Faithful geyser. The reason for this is simple – it’s sitting on top of the world’s biggest volcano, and geological experts are beginning to get nervous sweats. The Yellowstone volcano has a pattern of erupting every 650,000 years or so, and we’re many years overdue for an explosion that will fill the atmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunging the Earth into a frozen winter that could last up to 15,000 years. The pressure under the Yellowstone is building steadily, and geologists have set 2012 as a likely date for the big bang.

6. The Physicists

This one’s case of bog-simple maths mathematics. Physicists at Berekely Uni have been crunching the numbers. and they’ve determined that the Earth is well overdue for a major catastrophic event. Even worse, they’re claiming their calculations prove, that we’re all going to die, very soon – while also saying their prediction comes with a certainty of 99 percent- and 2012 just happens to be the best guess as to when it occurs.

7. Slip-Slop-Slap-BANG!

We all know the Earth is surrounded by a magnetic field that sheilds us from most of the sun’s radiation. What you might not know is that the magnetic poles we call north and south have a nasty habit of swapping places every 750,000 years or so – and right now we’re about 30,000 years overdue. Scientists have noted that the poles are drifting apart roughly 20-30kms each year, much faster than ever before, which points to a pole-shift being right around the corner. While the pole shift is underway, the magnetic field is disrupted and will eventually disappear, sometimes for up to 100 years. The result is enough UV outdoors to crisp your skin in seconds, killing everything it touches.

Y2k was also predicted as the end of the world and just turned out to be a fluke to get you to spend a lot of money to ugrade your computer. I proved it a fluke by leaving my 1993 old compter one and the internal clock changed over to 2000 no issues at all.

no one can ever know when or what time the world should come to an end. Evey 10 billion years? Who knows. i believe in God and Jesus very strongley but truthfully i dont think they even have all these kinds of answers. and supposedly when the dinosaurs died they died from a meteroid that hit earth! every 10 billion years its supposed to hit and on Sept.27.04 is our 10 billionth year, i guess.and right now at this very second our astronauts are trying to find a way to destroy it! but if u think it takes 6 months to get to mars, if the meteroid is on the way it should be near mars and we cant see it and its supposed to be hotter than the sun im sure our world would be alot brighter. so in my opinion if your really obsessed with this whole end of the world thing i suggest you prove your point and show the rest of us the facts of our death date.

Aright, the world is ending in about 8 months, around December of 2004. There are about 5 comets headed straight for Earth coming toward the south pole. No one ever knew about this event until they built an observatory in Antarctica and saw that they were coming. They kept this event on the low and they killed the scientists that studied there so the world wouldn’t freak out and so the economy would drop drastically. If the whole world knew, people would be running around all over and stealing things and breaking out of jails etc. I heard this on AM Coast To Coast radio program. Its nation wide show on the radio every night so you should listen to it and discover interesting things for yourself.

Nostradamus

Actually, the Bible shows that not even the Son knows the date or hour, but that ‘only the Father’ knows. (See Matthew 24:36) Since Nostradamus is not the Father, it becomes obvious that he could not know of any timing secrets, if you believe the Bible. Notice that in verse 13, we are told clearly what we must do to become saved: endure with faithfulness until the end actually occurs. One can not simply say “I believe upon the name of the Lord Jesus!” Words alone mean nothing. Also, John 11:25 shows that we need not be overly anxious or fearful of this coming hour, because the faithful ones will be taken care of.

By the way, when the Bible speaks of the “world” passing away, it is not talking about the Earth. Rather, it is talking about the wicked people of the Earth. If you speak of the world’s moral state, you do not speak of the ground and trees, but of the people. Isaiah 45:18 tells us that God did not make the Earth simply to destroy it, but to have it inhabited (by righteous people). Again, a close look at the Bible can bring comfort.

The Bible says no one will know.

The Bible describes believers as living in a state of expectancy, in a state of tension, between two worlds. We live in the present world, which we know will end, while we look for the world to come with the return of Christ. “So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him” (Matthew 24:44, NIV).

Me? Since it really cannot be predicted I do not believe we will ever know in advace.

I Won The Race….No One Cared A Damn – Spirituality Information

Ants move in groups.. Ants never get tired. They are always on the move. I have never seen an ant take rest….  Is the ant really making any progress? God alone knows perhaps it could be moving in the wrong direction who knows…

Many of my friends are successful,wealthy and happy. They have made significant progress in their respective fields. They are always on the move.. They are miles ahead of other people. Have they really made any progress? God alone knows perhaps they could be moving in the wrong direction who knows……..

Ordinary people applaud extraordinary or great beings. That does not mean that the great people are making progress. How do we know? How can you be sure that action and status signify growth? Who told you that forward movements always signify progress? Does comparison really matter when it comes down to the grind? …. Your measurement of progress and growth could be totally wrong because the tool you use to measure growth is the same tool which helped you travel that distance…… It is equal to correcting your own papers during examinations. The results will always be biased when a human mind evaluates its own mind or any other mind superior or inferior to it. Human mind cannot judge itself… You need a superior tool,not a superior human being to judge your mind….

Lets say for example that you were to monitor the evolution of an ant. Can you as a human being justify the progress of any ant… Can you pick up an ant and say that it has made terrific growth in its life span? What would be the criteria you would use for measuring the ant’s growth? Would that criteria match the ant’s mind? Think about it my dear friend. By all means your criteria for growth would not be in sink with the ant’s mind…..

The way you visualise the ants is the way God visualises you perhaps…. He might have a different criteria for progress and growth than what you thought….. You might well be moving in the wrong direction.. Do not think that by walking further down the road you have made any progress. You have only covered some distance. Action and movement might not signify growth. Do not be too much overawed by those people who are greater than you. They too are travelling in the same road. They might be miles ahead of you, but who is there to justify whether that it is the right road?….Winners and losers doesnt matter when the race is disqualified by the referee…

The tiny ant pinched me on my foot…. It seemed to be saying “I won the race.” Who cares? I know it is moving in the wrong road. I crushed it badly for hurting me. It died. The other ant following it took a different road…
