You Get What You Ask For
In life we get what we ask for.
Now you surely say that it isn’t true. You say you ask for freedom and happiness and all you got was feeling imprisoned and bad.
Let’s have a closer look to how creation works and how our subconscious mind works. Because it’s the same.
Everything that exists is created in someone’s mind. Everything starts with a thought. A thought is an energy. Energy wants to manifest itself. A lot of thoughts in the same direction will, that’s for sure, manifest in the real world.
This is the process of creation.
We are created by the same process. We use this process of creation all the time,
without knowing it.
When we are not conscious, then we are like most people and use this power to create a negative life. We have negative thoughts and get negative results.
Once we learn how to think positive thoughts, we will get positive results in our life.
How come? Our subconscious mind is like the earth. It does not interfere with what we sow. Earth does not say :”Nja I have enough of these carottes, it’s every time the same thing, I will make potatoes of it!” Earth does not say : “Bah I don’t like red flowers, I will turn the red into blue for these roses!” Earth does not interfere. Earth is patient, works in silence and gives us exactly what we put in it. And we KNOW that! We know we will get exactly what we put in the earth. When we put yellow flowers in it, we don’t expect them to be red when they blossom. When we sow roses in the garden we don’t expect onions to come out in spring!
And yet that’s how we react in real life. We sow onions and expect roses. We sow negative thoughts in our mind (onions) and expect good things (roses) to come out! We fool ourselves! And we blame others. We look for who can possibly be the fault of that (usually we blame the parents or the husband/wife for what goes wrong in our life). And then we cry and say we don’t have any luck in our lives. We look at the neighbour and think he’s lucky because he has roses in his garden, and we wonder what we did to the world to deserve only onions in our garden!
When the mainstream of your thoughts is negative, let’s say for 85 %, than the outcome will be negative for 85%. Your thoughts fall into your subconscious mind, which executes exactly what you put in it. It is like the earth. It is like a computer. When you type in your computer : “I am stupid, I am fat, I am ugly, nobody loves me”, are you angry with your printer when the paper comes out that says “I am stupid, I am fat, I am ugly, nobody loves me”? Do you throw a shoe at your computer and do you yell at him that he is the fault of everything that’s going wrong? No, because you know you put that information in it and your computer does not interfere. The output matches exactly the input.
So works our subconscious mind. If you don’t like the output, change the input. You get exactly what you ask for = what you think of the whole day. Don’t be angry with your life. You are not angry with the onions, are you? You are not angry with your computer, are you? Instead of being angry, learn how it works and learn to get positive results in your life. Start thinking positive thoughts. Think only thoughts you wish to see happen in real life. Think only what you want to become true. And wait for a while, be patient. One day you will harvest what you sew, like you know earth will give you back what you put in it. It is never lost. Just wait and see.
Law of Attraction Classics: Suggestion Is Power – Sports
This subtle force of the repeated suggestion overcomes our reason, acting directly on our emotions and our feelings, finally penetrating to the very depths of our subconscious minds. This is the basic principle of all successful advertising—the continued and repeated suggestion that first makes you believe, after which you are eager to buy. In recent years we have enjoyed a vitamin spree.
For centuries tomatoes were looked upon as poisonous. People dared not eat them until some fearless person tried them and lived. Today millions of people eat tomatoes, not knowing that they were considered unfit for human consumption. Conversely, the lowly spinach nearly went into the garbage pail after the United States Government declared that it did not contain the food values attributed to it for decades. Millions believed this and refused to honor Popeye’s favorite dish any longer.
Clearly, the founders of all great religious movements knew much about the power of the repeated suggestion and gained far-reaching results with it. Religious teachings have been hammered into us from birth, into our mothers and fathers before us and into their parents and their parents before them.
There’s certainly white magic in that kind of believing.
Such statements as “What we don’t know won’t hurt us” and ‘Ignorance is bliss” take on greater significance when you realize that only the things you become conscious of can harm or bother you. We have all heard the story of the man who didn’t know it couldn’t be done and went ahead and did it.
Psychologists tell us that as babies we have only two fears: the fear of loud noises and the fear of falling. All of our other fears are passed on to us or develop as a result of our experiences; they come from what we are taught or what we hear and see.
I like to think of men and women as staunch oak trees that can stand firm amid the many crosscurrents of thought that whirl around them. But far too many people are like saplings that, swayed by every little breeze, ultimately grow in the direction of some strong wind of thought that blows against them.
The Bible is filled with examples of the power of thought and suggestion. Read Genesis, Chapter 30, verses 36 to 43, and you’ll learn that even Jacob knew their power. The Bible tells how he developed spotted and speckled cattle, sheep, and goats by placing rods from trees, partially stripping them of their bark so they would appear spotted and marked, in the watering troughs where the animals came to drink. As you may have guessed, the flocks conceived before the spotted rods and brought forth cattle, “ring-straked, speckled, and spotted.” (And incidentally, Jacob waxed exceedingly rich.)
Moses, too, was a master at suggestion. For forty years he used it on the Israelites, and it took them to the promised land of milk and honey. David, following the suggestive forces operating on him, slew the mighty, heavily armed Goliath with a pebble from a slingshot.
Joan of Arc, the frail little Maid of Orlฺans, heard voices and under their suggestive influences became imbued with the idea that she had a mission to save France. She was able to transmit her indomitable spirit to the hearts of her soldiers and she defeated the superior forces of the English at Orlฺans.
William James, father of modern psychology in America, declared that often our faith in advance of a doubtful undertaking is the only thing that can assure its successful conclusion. Man’s faith, according to James, acts on the powers above him as a claim and creates its own verification. In other words, the thought becomes literally father to the fact.
For further illumination of faith and its power, I suggest that you read the General Epistle of James in the New Testament.
Actually everyone who has ever witnessed a football or baseball game has seen this power of suggestion at work. Knute Rockne, the famous coach at Notre Dame, knew the value of suggestion and used it repeatedly, but always suited his method of applying it to the temperament of the individual team.
On one Saturday afternoon, Notre Dame was playing in a particularly grueling game, and at the end of the first half was trailing badly. The players were in their dressing room nervously awaiting Rockne’s arrival. Finally the door opened, and Rockne came in slowly. His eyes swept inquiringly over the squad—”Oh, excuse me, I made a mistake. I thought these were the quarters of the Notre Dame team.” The door closed, and Rockne was gone.
Puzzled and then stung with fury, the team went out for the second half—and won the game.
Other writers, too, have explained the psychological methods Rockne used and have told how Fielding Yost of Michigan, Dan McGuin of Vanderbilt, Herbert Crisler of Princeton, and dozens of others used the “magic” of suggestion to arouse their teams to great emotional heights.
Before the Rose Bowl game of 1934, the “wise” tipsters rated the Columbia team as underdogs. They hadn’t counted on Coach Lou Little and his stirring talks to his players day after day. When the whistle blew for the end of the game, the Columbia men were the top dogs over the “superior” Stanford team.
In 1935, Gonzaga University beat powerful Washington State 13 to 6 in one of the biggest upset games ever seen in the West. Gonzaga was a non-conference team, while the Washington State team, because of its great record, was thought to be unbeatable. Newspapers at the time reported assistant coach Sam Dagley as having declared that Gonzaga played inspired football.
He revealed that for half an hour before the game, Coach Mike Pecarovich played “over and over” a phonograph record of one of Rockne’s most rousing pep talks.
Years ago, Mickey Cochrane of the Detroit Tigers literally drove a second-division-minded group of baseball players to the top of the American League by using the power of the repeated suggestion. I quote from a newspaper dispatch: “Day after day, through the hot, hard grind, [Cochrane] preached the gospel of victory, impressing on the Tigers the ‘continued thought’ that the team which wins must go forward.”
You see the same force actively at work in the fluctuations of the stock market. Unfavorable news immediately depresses prices, while favorable news raises them. The intrinsic values of stocks are not changed, but there is an immediate change in the thinking of the market operators, which is reflected at once in the minds of the holders. Not what will actually happen, but what security holders believe will happen causes them to buy or sell.
In the Depression years—and there may be years like them in the future—we saw this same suggestive force working overtime. Day after day we heard expressions such as, “Times are hard,” “Business is poor,” “The banks are failing,” “Prosperity hasn’t a chance,” and wild stories about business failures on every hand, until they became the national chant.
Millions believed that prosperous days would never return. Hundreds, yes thousands, of strong-willed men go down under the constant hammering, the continuous tap-tapping of the same fearful thoughts. Money, always sensitive, runs to cover when fear suggestions begin to circulate, and business failures and unemployment quickly follow.
We hear thousands of stories of bank failures, huge concerns going to the wall, etc., and people readily believe them and act accordingly.
There will never be another business depression if people generally realize that their own fearful thoughts literally create hard times. They think hard times, and hard times follow. So it is with wars. When peoples of the world stop thinking of depressions and wars, they will become non- existent, for nothing comes into our economic sphere unless we first create it with our emotional thinking.
Sarah Meets Wayne Gretzky – And A Lifelong Dream Is Fulfilled
Sarah is so excited! Her whole body is jiggling up and down as she tells me, “Wayne Gretzky and Janet came right up to me. I told Janet I saw her in a movie while ‘The Great One’ gave me his autograph.” I’m excited for Sarah! As her mother, I know that she has just received a lifelong dream–to get ‘up close and personal’ with her hero.
Sarah is my special daughter. When she was born, almost 25 years ago, the doctors told me she would never be able to live on her own. They said she was retarded and would not be able to do many of the things most people take for granted. Indeed, she has Down’s syndrome, but the doctors were way off about her capabilities. She is a very independent young woman, has a job that pays ‘real money’, lives on her own and decorates her apartment to suit her tastes–with life-size Wayne Gretzky posters, two autographed photos, a huge LA Kings banner that she bought when he was with that team and tons of other Gretzky paraphernalia.
She has been a faithful fan of ‘number 99′. She followed him from Edmonton, to LA to where ever her ‘guy’ was playing–glued to the TV during playoffs and proud each time his team won the Stanley Cup. She has made scrapbooks and written letters to let him know that she thinks he is the BEST!
So, is it any wonder that the Law of Attraction brought Wayne Gretzky to Victoria, BC? We first realized he was in town one Saturday night, when we read in the newspaper that he had played golf in a celebrity tournament. “Too bad we didn’t realize Wayne would be in Victoria,” I lamented, as we poured over the photo of him swinging his golf club. We both assumed we had missed a golden opportunity to see him in person.
But the next morning, as I walked through the Inner Harbor, I noticed an abundance of expensive cars and limos waiting in front of the Empress Hotel. It took me a couple of minutes to figure it out–that the vehicles were waiting to take all the celebrities to the airport–but once I did, I knew exactly what action to take.
Using my cell phone, I called Sarah and told her, “If you want to see Wayne Gretzky, throw on some clothes and ride your bike down here as fast as you can. And bring paper and pen to get his autograph.” I continued walking to my destination–saying a little prayer, “Please, keep Wayne from leaving until Sarah can get there.” I’m sure she was ‘flying’ as fast as she could pedal.
Later she told me that Wayne and his family came out of the Empress Hotel right at the same moment she arrived on her bike. He was working the crowd and walked right up to her, asked her name, signed his autograph while Sarah made mention of Janet’s part in a movie.
I asked her, “Sarah, was it as good has you had imagined? Or better?”
“Better,” she grinned. “Much better than I ever imagined.”
You know, if the Universe would go to such lengths to satisfy Sarah’s lifelong wish, then NOTHING is too difficult. There is no dream or hope or desire that cannot be fulfilled.
Buying the Myth
o much life conditioning inhibits the brilliance that is in you. Are you accessing all that is available to you? As a brilliant coach, as a brilliant human-being, as a brilliant spiritual being, as a bright light in the world, you have access to so much abundance. Are you living it? Are you breathing it? Do you believe it in every fibre of your being?
Or are you buying into the myth, the illusions? There are so many things aimed at people to help them build their lives and businesses; as though they are not enough themselves; as though the magic and mystery of existence were there to thwart your success. It’s so far from the truth of the abundance available in the universe. It often shocks and surprises me to see this disturbing trend. Whatever the truths are, I’m here to say there is MORE!
Dismantle the illusions of safety, security, structures, that create a prison of expectation, necessity, and image. Get into the risk of playing in the mud, getting dirty, letting go and letting God, magic, Source, energy (whatever belief/name suits you). You had it happening once as a kid. Bring it alive again. Inside, you are yearning for it.
Get excited again about the adventure, this life. Get curious and playful with your day-to-day, with your business, with your home, relationships, and finances. If you resist and prefer safety, security, and rigidity, I’m curious:
- So how’s that working for you?
- Where are you still dissatisfied?
- What don’t you want to let go of?
- What’s it costing you?
These thoughts, while universal, really are inspired by the tragic scarcity demonstrated in the world. Obviously it doesn’t affect everyone, but we do see some living in scarcity. This is a boost to those that do need it and a reminder to those of us who get it but are still human in our experience.
Law of Attraction – 5 Reason Why Money is So Hard to Attract
Recently someone ask the question, “why is money so very hard to attract?” Lots of people who discover the laws of attraction want to know the answer to that very question. Many more people will continue to have a very hard time at trusting the law of attraction for the very reason that they are not able to manifest money as they would like.
1. You Want it tooo Much
Yes, that’s right! The mere fact that you want money makes you repel that money. The more you want something the more you activate the law of attraction to further push it away from you. When you want something desperately you are at a place of lack, emptiness and with out. There are many ancient techniques that can move you out of that feeling of emptiness to where you begin to energetically empower yourself to draw a phenomenal amount of magnetic power to you. These techniques although simple are extremely effective in making you a powerful magnet.
2. You Have Not Learned How to be Abundant
Learning how to be abundant is necessary to activating the law of attraction in your favor. Before you can be abundant you have to be able to see abundance all around you. You have to change your perspective on life and your present reality. If you are thinking and feeling that the universe is scarce then it is more than likely that what you seen of the universe and scarcely will be reflected in how you manifest money to you.
3. You Have Placed Money Above You
Few people will admit to doing so but most everyone has made money a huge priority in their life. It isn’t that money is not a priority but there is something which is way beyond money. The moment you become aware that your own divine self is far more powerful than money you will continue to struggle in attracting more of it. Those who are aware of their divine nature have an easier time of applying the laws of attraction to bring them more money or anything a lot faster.
4. You Don’t Really Want Money
If a survey were to be taken more people than not would say the same sing, “I don’t really want a lot of money, I just want to have enough.” It amazes me that so many people who work diligently at trying to understand the law of attraction will easily say that they don’t really want a lot of money. Is it any wonder that few people will ever really attract a large amount of money. The laws of attraction are quite on target with that inner feeling of conflict and will manifest exactly that resistance you have towards money
5. You Can’t Take Money as a Joke
One thing which is quite common to those who have manifested large fortunes in their life is that they moved beneath the pressure of making money. To move beyond money you need to see and feel money as a game. Making money should become a wonderful feeling of joy rather than a struggle of pain and suffering. If you learn to have fun with making money the law of attraction will reward you by bringing you much more.
Where Is The Law of Attraction When A Tsunami Hits?
Several people have written to me asking for help in understanding how the Law of Attraction is at work when something as serious as the tsunami in Asia occurs. If you are wondering the same thing, then this article may help you understand AND keep your own vibration high and clear.
First, listen for stories of people who escaped or survived the tsunami. While the majority of news reports will focus on death and destruction, if you are listening for the positive, you’ll hear about people who missed their flight to Asia, due to a snow storm in New England. You’ll hear about people who decided to tour ancient ruins in the highlands. People will tell how their lives were saved despite being caught in the flood. Many people will wonder why they were NOT caught in the tsunami–that’s Law of Attraction at work.
Second, you don’t have to spend hours listening and watching the news. You really don’t. You know enough already to be aware of what is happening without getting caught up in the vibration of fear and panic, grief and despair. AND if you do watch it, soon you will begin to vibrate that same frequency of fear, panic, grief and despair and the Law of Attraction WILL deliver what you vibrate. No, you don’t want to go there! So, watch a funny movie (yes, you can do that). Read a good novel. Do whatever you need to do to keep your vibration positive.
“But what about all the people who died? Surely they didn’t ask for that!” No, they didn’t ask for this–not on a conscious level. But, let me ask you this question: Is it possible for the Universe, Law of Attraction or God to arrange for so many people to be in the precise place where they will all return to spirit at the same time?
Right now, you are safe. If you are reading this article, you have electricity and a computer…you are fine. Repeat after me: “Today I am fine. Right now, I am safe.” You are.
“How can I help the people who are suffering right now?” Keep your thoughts focused on things that are positive and of high vibration. Visualize food and water reaching people, bringing relief to their bodies and gratitude to their hearts. Contribute financially to relief agencies if you want to help in a material way.
And remember, Law of Attraction is always at work, whether we understand it or not. From “9-11″ to wars, to tsunami floods, to joyous prosperity and celebrations. Everything vibrates and you attract into your life precisely what you are vibrating.
Manifestation is a powerful tool for personal growth
Manifestation is the results of your thoughts. Sounds simple if you are already a manifestation student but do you really believe it and live by it.
What we focus on expands, so what are you manifesting?
Why not stop and think about it, what you are manifesting right now.
How do you feel about what you are manifesting and do you feel like it is your creation?
You may have some doubts about this but you are already an expert at manifesting?
Just look at everything around you and all the experiences that you have been having.
If we can move forward from that belief that we are already creating the things that are in front of us, we can also think that it is possible to change what we are manifesting.
So if manifestation is a given, then how do we change what we are manifesting.
Focus on what you want: Focus on the feelings of what you want and feel positive about it, positive about having it, feel good in your body and emotions.
The opposite of this is to focus on not having it and that we should have it. This is an important point so think about this for awhile. Think back to the experiences that you have had and how you felt about those things before they were delivered. Think about things that came easy and things that were difficult. Use you own experiences to take this point to a deeper level deeper.
Start to take inspired action towards having what you want. Inspired action means to take action with awareness of how it makes us feel as we move towards having what we want.
Taking action with awareness allows us to know when we are coming across some limiting beliefs and to recognize the negative voice that tells us to stop or change direction.
The simplest method to follow when we hit a negative belief, it to just ignore it and replace it with a positive one. This may take some repetition but it is well worth it.
There are plenty of other techniques for belief change which can be used at a later stage. Starting the ball rolling is the most important thing at first.
Continue to take action with awareness and you will know when you making the decisions that will support what you want. If you get off track, just laugh and get back on again.
Choose what resources you would like to help you and stay aware for their delivery.
Personal growth is a lot about knowing who we really are and using conscious manifestation is a great tool to learn a lot about ourselves. When you master conscious manifestation you will also realize at a deeper level that it was really you who created all those experiences.
Enjoy your manifestations!
Use the Law of Attraction to Manifest Outstanding Results
If you have gone about your life feeling frustrated, angry and stuck you can transform this lower feelings and move into an outrageous state of joy and hopefulness and begin to attract greater circumstances.
The law of attraction states that like attracts like. That simply means if you are feeling stuck and hopeless you will continue to attract more circumstances that bring about hopelessness.
One of the fastest ways to get the law of attraction to work for you is to take a period of time and do nothing more than find the things which bring you outrageous joy. Forget about wanting a new car or more money. Focus most on being joyful.
1) Make a list of all the things which make you completely happy. Then go out and do it. See if you can fill an entire week of your free time with activities that are fun and emotionally rewarding to you.
2) Get a journal – Every night before bed write out your feels about the way you spent your day. Make a point to express how you felt. Your feelings are extremely important because they inform the law of attraction as to your present vibration.
3) Each day search out activities that you may have wished to try but never got around to doing them. The more new and fun activities that you engage in the more expanded you will feel. You will naturally move into a higher more expanded state. New activities open up your inner being much more than activities that you have become too familiar with. When you are in a new environment you easily move into a more aware and open state.
By the end of the week you will be a change in your own personal energy. Now you can begin to think more about what you would like to manifest in your life. Be clear about your desire and allow the law of attraction to go to work to do wonders in brining about your desires.
To best apply the law of attraction you should be in a state of joy and openness. As you go through your daily activities you may not be aware of it but you do shut down. Everything becomes routine and you easily hold on to old thought patterns.
As you change your routine and open up you begin to see some amazing changes and your ability to master the law of attraction techniques will be greatly enhanced.
“Please help me bring back the love of my life.” Part one of a two-part series.
Often I receive emails asking me how to use the Law of Attraction to attract a certain person–usually for romatic purposes. One woman, in her 40’s, wrote to me this week and has given me permission to share some of our correspondence with you. Perhaps you (or someone you know) will recognize the feelings expressed here:
“Please can you help me understand how to bring back the love of my life. We only dated for a short time but I know he is the one. He has been hurt badly and didn’t want to end things with me but felt he had to because he was frightened he would be hurt again. It was a very emotional ending for both of us.
I love him so much that I let him go and I respect him so I have stayed away to give him time and space. We have been apart for three months. In my heart I know that we are meant to be together but even though I was so sad and in despair I still felt loving and kindness towards him and my thoughts were always hopeful. And in my longing and praying several ‘co-incidences’ have happened.
Not long after we split up I started searching the web for anything that could give me advice about winning back the man I love and discovered the Law of Attraction. . .Can you help me?”
Sometimes a man will write to me in a similar vein: “I’m in love with this wonderful (or beautiful) woman. I know she is the one for me. Our paths have crossed often. How can I get her to notice me (or go out with me)?”
In part one of this two-part series, we’ll look at why you are NOT in a relationship with the “love of your dreams.” In part two we’ll look at what to do when a seemingly “perfect partnership” falls apart. I hope that while reading both you will also understand how the Law of attraction DOES bring the true Mr./Ms. Right your way – because it will work!
Part one: “Why am I NOT in a relationship with the love of my life? What’s happening here? Is the Law of Attraction at work?” Of course it is!
The Law of Attraction is always reflecting back to you your vibration. Remember:
You can know what you are vibrating by observing what IS
showing up in your life.
When you think you are in love with someone—and are sure they are “the one,” but cannot seem to convince him or her or attract him or her, then they are NOT “the one”. If they were, you would already be in a relationship with them–a natural, mutual, harmonious relationship that both of you equally gravitated toward.
Two scenarios are really at play here:
You are in love with the idea of this person being in love with you. That someone with these physical attributes, or character traits, or successes in life could want to be with you is an exhilarating idea.
What often happens is that you meet someone who has five (or ten) characteristics that you are looking for in your ideal partner and you assume that he or she is your “ideal mate.” You think, “This is it! I’ve found ‘the one’ for me for the rest of my life.” However, the attraction just doesn’t seem mutual and you do not understand why. Didn’t the Law of Attraction bring them to you? Well, the real question is are they looking for someone like you? Are you a vibrational match for this person?
Remember that the person you are looking at may only appear to have the qualities you desire. Underneath the exterior clothing of beauty and success, there may be person with entirely different goals, beliefs and core values than yours. Even if you are very similar, what is he or she looking for? The role of their ideal mate may be very different from one you would truly like to play.
The second scenario goes like this:
You are in love with the idea of being “allowed” to love this person Seeing their potential and their needs, you may also see how “helpful” you could be for them as a mate. Searching for love with this motive is especially dangerous because, sadly, more often than not there is simply an insecure, life-draining person there, hoping to find someone to give their life meaning and purpose. (Not a healthy thought.) Victims attract someone who can make them a victim again. The poor attract someone who can enable them to continue in their poverty. The Law of Attraction is not fooled, nor can it be manipulated through words and expressions of desires that are not in alignment with the truth.
But you see so many people around you happy and in love, why does it not come your way?
Here is how the Law of Attraction does work, and how you can make it work for you:
In order to attract the “ideal partner”– someone who is in vibrational harmony with who you are–you must be what you seek.
Are you looking for someone who is kind? You must be kind. Do you want someone with good looks? You must care about how you look. Do you want someone who will make a commitment to you? Ask yourself, “Do I keep commitments?” Do you want someone who is successful? Ask your self, “Am I vibrating success?”
Remember, the Law of Attraction is bringing to you exactly what you are vibrating. If you want something different in your life, you must change yourself–your vibration. It’s an inside job and you can only change yourself– you can’t change someone else’s vibration.
I referred to the second scenario as especially dangerous for this reason exactly – you can’t change someone else, and while trying to do so you stop concentrating on yourself, stalling any change and growth that may need to occur in you.
You CAN attract your ideal partner. You CAN find joy in a healthy relationship. Just start with yourself:
KNOW yourself
ACCEPT yourself
HONOR yourself
TRUST yourself
LOVE yourself
When you do, the most perfect relationships happen in a perfectly natural way.
Why? Because your healthy relationship with yourself is reflected in your healthy relationship with that significant other.
